Serie B : Cagliari beat Pro Vercelli to win Serie B title
ITALY, May. 20, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 42: Three wins in a row for Cagliari. After their success against Bari and Salernitana, the Rossoblu continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 2-1 victory over Pro Vercelli this Friday.
Di Gennaro Davide opened the score in the 3rd minute, before seeing Pro Vercelli catch up in the 5th minute thanks to Castiglia Luca. 1-1 at half time. The Rossoblu eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Sau Marco with just 6 minutes remaining in regulation time.
