Serie B (Week 41) : Pro Vercelli defeats Perugia 2-1
ITALY, May. 13, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 41: After their 1-1 draw against Trapani on May 7, the Bianche Casacche returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Perugia this Friday.
Pro Vercelli dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Mustacchio Mattia in the 13th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Bianche Casacche further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ardizzone Francesco in stoppage time.
AC Perugia remains in 10th place with 54 points from 41 games, 7 points behind Virtus Entella, which has a game in hand.
