Serie B (Week 41) : Latina beats Vicenza 2-1
ITALY, May. 14, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 41: After their 0-0 draw against Spezia on May 7 and 1-1 draw against Crotone on May 7, Latina bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Vicenza this Saturday.
Latina dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Paponi Daniele in the 25th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Latina players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Olivera Ruben on penalty in the 53rd minute.
Vicenza Calcio remains in 14th place with 48 points from 41 games, one point behind AS Avellino 1912.
