ITALY, May. 14, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 41: After two straigth draws against Modena and Latina, the Pitagorici lost 3-0 against Trapani.
Trapani dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Perticone Romano in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Granata further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Scognamiglio Gennaro '66 and De Cenco Caio '76).
FC Crotone are down in second place with 79 points from 41 games, one point behind Cagliari.
