Serie B (Week 40) : Vicenza beats Entella 2-1
ITALY, May. 7, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 40: Two wins in a row for Vicenza. After their 0-1 win against Brescia on April 30, the Biancorossi continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 2-1 victory over Virtus Entella this Saturday.
Virtus Entella had started off well by taking the lead in the 15th minute with a goal by Troiano Michele. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Biancorossi nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (D Elia Salvatore '57 and Giacomelli Stefano '71).
Virtus Entella remains in 9th place with 61 points from 40 games, one point behind Spezia Calcio, which has a game in hand.
