Serie B (Week 6) : Pisa beats Ascoli 2-1
ITALY, Sep. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 6: After their 0-0 draw against Frosinone on September 20, the Nerazzurri bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Ascoli this Saturday.
Pisa dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Lores Ignacio in the 38th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Nerazzurri further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Verna Luca in the 74th minute.
AC Pisa climbed to third place with 11 points from 6 games, only one point behind Benevento Calcio.
