ITALY, Sep. 20, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 5: After three straigth draws, Picchio bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Vicenza this Tuesday.
Ascoli dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Carpani Gianluca in the 26th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Picchio further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Cacia Daniele on penalty in the 67th minute.
Ascoli Calcio 1898 climbed to 9th place with 6 points from 4 games, only one point behind Spezia Calcio.
