Serie B (Week 5) : Benevento and Pro Vercelli play out 1-1 draw
ITALY, Sep. 20, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 5: Benevento was held to a 1-1 draw by Pro Vercelli on Tuesday.
Pro Vercelli players started off well by taking the lead thanks to La Mantia Andrea on penalty in the 34th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Benevento with a saving goal from Buzzegoli Daniele in the 65th minute.
Benevento Calcio are down in third place with 9 points from 5 games, one point behind Hellas Verona.
