Serie B (Week 5) : Verona defeats SPAL 3-1

ITALY, Sep. 20, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 5: Two wins in a row for Hellas Verona. After their 3-1 win against Avellino on September 17, the Gialloblu continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 3-1 victory over SPAL this Tuesday.

Valoti Mattia scored dual goals

Hellas Verona dominated the first half thanks to goals from Valoti Mattia ('6) and Pazzini Giampaolo ('34). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Gialloblu further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Valoti Mattia in the 66th minute.

Hellas Verona climbed to second place with 10 points from 5 games, 5 points behind AS Cittadella.
