ITALY, Sep. 4, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 2: After losing 2-0 to Benevento on August 27, the Spallini returned to winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Vicenza this Sunday.
SPAL dominated the first half thanks to goals from Arini Mariano ('10) and Cremonesi Michele ('22). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Spallini further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Zigoni Gianmarco in stoppage time.
SPAL Ferrara climbed to 6th place with 3 points from 2 games, only one point behind Brescia Calcio, Carpi FC 1909 and Benevento Calcio.
