ITALY, Sep. 3, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 2: Two wins in a row for Cittadella. After their 1-2 win against Bari on August 27, Citta continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 2-0 victory over Ternana this Saturday.
Cittadella dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Litteri Gianluca in the 11th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Citta further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Salvi Alessandro in the 61st minute.
AS Cittadella climbed to first place with 6 points from 2 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Brescia Calcio.
