Serie B (Week 13) : Verona defeats Spezia 4-1
ITALY, Nov. 5, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 13: Two wins in a row for Hellas Verona. After their 2-0 win against Trapani on October 30, the Gialloblu continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 4-1 victory over Spezia this Saturday.
Fossati Marco scored dual goals
Hellas Verona dominated the first half thanks to goals from Fossati Marco ('17) and Datkovic Nico ('31 own). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Gialloblu further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Fossati Marco '61 and Romulo Caldeira '90).
Hellas Verona remains in first place with 30 points from 13 games, a 5-point lead over runner-up AS Cittadella.
