ITALY, Feb. 18, 2017 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 26: After two straigth draws against Pro Vercelli and Novara, Citta lost 3-1 against Avellino.
Ardemagni Matteo scored dual goals
Cittadella had started off well by taking the lead in the 12th minute with a goal by Strizzolo Luca. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Lupi nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Ardemagni Matteo '53, '86 and Eusepi Umberto '90).
AS Cittadella are down in 6th place with 39 points from 26 games, tie on points with AC Perugia.
