Serie B (Week 15) : Cittadella beats Verona 5-1
ITALY, Nov. 18, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 15: The Gialloblu crashed to their 2nd consecutive defeat as they lost 5-1 against Cittadella.
Litteri Gianluca scored dual goals
Hellas Verona opened the score in the score in the 1st minute thanks to Pazzini Giampaolo, before Cittadella regained the advantage with Iori Manuel ('19), Scaglia Filippo ('28), Litteri Gianluca ('35) and Benedetti Amedeo ('45). Leading 4-1 at the break, Citta further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Litteri Gianluca with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Hellas Verona remains in first place with 30 points from 15 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up AS Cittadella.
