Serie B (Week 15) : Ascoli and Perugia play out 2-2 draw
ITALY, Nov. 20, 2016 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 15: The match between Ascoli and Perugia ended in a 2-2 draw on Sunday.
Perugia players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Guberti Stefano in the 19th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Dezi Jacopo goal ('76) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Ascoli with goals by Perez Leonardo ('52) and Cacia Daniele ('79).
AC Perugia climbed to fifth place with 24 points from 15 games, 3 points behind Frosinone Calcio, which has a game in hand.
