PORT-AU-PRINCE, Nov. 23, 1968 (AMP) — Mexico 70 (American Qualifiers) : Haiti defeated Trinidad and Tobago by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 1970 FIFA World Cup on Saturday.
The result put the Haitians second in Group 2 with 2 points. Trinidad and Tobago is bottom with one point. In their next game, Haiti will meet third-placed Trinidad and Tobago on November 25, while Trinidad and Tobago will face Haiti.
