MEXICO CITY, Jun. 25, 1986 (AMP) — Mexico 86 : Argentina reached the FIFA World Cup final for the third time in their history with a 2-0 win against Belgium (halftime: 0-0) on Wednesday afternoon at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.

Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with two goals by Argentine midfielder Diego Maradona at '51 and '63.
