BORDEAUX, Jun. 30, 1998 (AMP) — France 98 : Croatia qualified to the quarter-finals of the 1998 FIFA World Cup with a 1-0 win against Romania (halftime: 1-0) on Tuesday afternoon at the Stade Chaban Delmas in Bordeaux.
All the action happened in the first half, with Croatian striker Davor Šuker goal on penalty in the 45th minute.
