VIENTIANE, Oct. 13, 2004 (AMP) — Germany 2006 (Asian Qualifiers) : Jordan defeated Laos by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2006 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday afternoon.
The result put the Jordanians top of Group 1 with 12 points. Laos is bottom with no points. In their last game, Jordan will meet third-placed Qatar on November 17, while Laos will face Iran.
