AL WAKRAH, Feb. 18, 2004 (AMP) — Germany 2006 (Asian Qualifiers) : Palestine defeated Taiwan by a big score of 8-0 (halftime: 4-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday night.
The result put the Palestinians top of Group 2 with 3 points. In their next game, Palestine will meet second-placed Iraq on March 31, while Taiwan will face Uzbekistan.
