SINGAPORE, Oct. 13, 2004 (AMP) — Germany 2006 (Asian Qualifiers) : Singapore defeated India by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday night.

The result put the Singaporeans third in Group 3 with 3 points. India is bottom with 3 points. In their last game, Singapore will meet group leaders Japan on November 17, while India will face Oman.
