BANGKOK, Oct. 13, 2004 (AMP) — Germany 2006 (Asian Qualifiers) : Thailand defeated the United Arab Emirates by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2006 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday night.
The result put the Emirati second in Group 5 with 7 points. Thailand is third with 6 points. In their last game, the United Arab Emirates will meet group leaders North Korea on November 17, while Thailand will face Yemen.
