BISHKEK, Feb. 18, 2004 (AMP) — Germany 2006 (Asian Qualifiers) : Tajikistan defeated Kyrgyzstan by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2006 FIFA World Cup on Wednesday afternoon.
The result put the Tajikistani top of Group 6 with 3 points. In their next game, Tajikistan will meet third-placed Bahrain on March 31, while Kyrgyzstan will face Syria.
