BAMAKO, Jun. 22, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (African Qualifiers) : Mali defeated Sudan by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Sunday night.
The result put the Malians top of Group 10 with 9 points. Sudan is bottom with 3 points. In their next game, Mali will meet second-placed Congo-Brazzaville on September 7, while Sudan will face Chad.
