KINSHASA, Jun. 22, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (African Qualifiers) : DR Congo defeated Djibouti by a big score of 5-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the congolese top of Group 12 with 9 points. Djibouti is bottom with no points. In their next game, DR Congo will meet third-placed Egypt on September 7, while Djibouti will face Malawi.
