DJIBOUTI, Sep. 5, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (African Qualifiers) : Malawi defeated Djibouti by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Friday night.
The result put the Malawians second in Group 12 with 9 points. Djibouti is bottom with no points. In their last game, Malawi will meet group leaders DR Congo on October 11, while Djibouti will face Egypt.
