HARARE, Jun. 8, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (African Qualifiers) : Zimbabwe defeated Namibia by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Zimbabweans top of Group 2 with 4 points. Namibia is third with 3 points. In their next game, Zimbabwe will meet second-placed Kenya on June 14, while Namibia will face Guinea.
