KAMPALA, May. 31, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (African Qualifiers) : Uganda defeated Niger by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Saturday afternoon.
The result put the Ugandans top of Group 3 with 3 points. In their next game, Uganda will meet second-placed Benin on June 8, while Niger will face Angola.
