COTONOU, Jun. 8, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (African Qualifiers) : Benin defeated Uganda by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Beninese second in Group 3 with 3 points. Uganda is third with 3 points. In their next game, Benin will meet Niger on June 14, while Uganda will face Angola.
