ATTERIDGEVILLE, Jun. 7, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (African Qualifiers) : South Africa defeated Equatorial Guinea by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Saturday afternoon.

The result put the South Africans second in Group 4 with 3 points. Equatorial Guinea is third with 3 points. In their next game, South Africa will meet Sierra Leone on June 14, while Equatorial Guinea will face Nigeria.
