TRIPOLI, Jun. 7, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (African Qualifiers) : Libya defeated Gabon by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night.
The result put the Libyans second in Group 5 with 3 points. In their next game, Libya will meet Lesotho on June 15, while Gabon will face Ghana.
