TRIPOLI, Jun. 20, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (African Qualifiers) : Libya defeated Lesotho by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Friday night.
The result put the Libyans top of Group 5 with 9 points. Lesotho is bottom with no points. In their next game, Libya will meet second-placed Ghana on September 5, while Lesotho will face Gabon.
