MONROVIA, Jun. 1, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (African Qualifiers) : Liberia tied 1-1 with Gambia (halftime: 0-1), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Sunday afternoon.
The result left both teams tied in the second place of Group 6 with one point. In their next game, Gambia will meet group leaders Senegal on June 8, while Liberia will face Algeria.
