ANTANANARIVO, Sep. 7, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (African Qualifiers) : Madagascar defeated Botswana by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Sunday afternoon.
The result put the Malagasy second in Group 7 with 6 points. Botswana is third with 5 points. In their last game, Madagascar will meet group leaders Ivory Coast on October 11, while Botswana will face Mozambique.
