OUAGADOUGOU, Jun. 21, 2008 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (African Qualifiers) : Burkina Faso defeated the Seychelles by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Saturday night.
The result put the Burkinabé top of Group 9 with 12 points. The Seychelles is bottom with no points. In their next game, Burkina Faso will meet second-placed Tunisia on September 6, while the Seychelles will face Burundi.
