BLIDA, Oct. 11, 2009 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (African Qualifiers) : Algeria defeated Rwanda by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Sunday night.
The result put the Algerians top of Group C with 13 points. Rwanda is bottom with one point. In their last game, Algeria will meet second-placed Egypt on November 14, while Rwanda will face Zambia.
