APIA, Aug. 27, 2007 (AMP) — South Africa 2010 (Oceania Qualifiers) : The Solomon Islands defeated Tonga by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2010 FIFA World Cup on Monday afternoon.

The result put the Solomon Islander top of Group B with 6 points. In their next game, the Solomon Islands will meet second-placed Vanuatu on September 1, while Tonga will face Samoa.
