World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Palestine beats Malaysia 6-0
KUALA LUMPUR, Jun. 16, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (Asian Qualifiers) : Palestine defeated Malaysia by a big score of 6-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday night at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur.
Maraaba and Seyam scored dual goals
Palestine dominated the first half thanks to goals from Al-Batat ('9), Maraaba ('22) and Seyam ('41). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Palestinians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Yousef '63, Maraaba '75 and Seyam '86).
The result put the Palestinians top of Group A with 3 points. Malaysia is bottom with one point. In their next game, Palestine will meet third-placed the United Arab Emirates at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium on September 8, while Malaysia will face the United Arab Emirates.
