DILI, Oct. 13, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (Asian Qualifiers) : Malaysia defeated East Timor by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday afternoon at the East Timor National Stadium in Dili.
All the action happened in the first half, with Amri goal in the 10th minute.
The result put the Malaysians fourth in Group A with 4 points. East Timor is bottom with 2 points. In their next game, Malaysia will meet third-placed Palestine at the East Timor National Stadium on November 12, while East Timor will face the United Arab Emirates.
