World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Palestine beats Malaysia 6-0
AMMAN, Nov. 12, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (Asian Qualifiers) : Palestine defeated Malaysia by a big score of 6-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Thursday afternoon at the Amman International Stadium.
Abu Nahyeh scored tripple goals
Palestine dominated the first half thanks to goals from Zorrilla ('37) and Abu Nahyeh ('38, '45). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Palestinians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Abu Nahyeh '58, Seyam '88 and Ihbeisheh '90).
The result put the Palestinians second in Group A with 9 points. Malaysia is fourth with 4 points. In their next game, Palestine will meet third-placed the United Arab Emirates at the Amman International Stadium on March 24, while Malaysia will face the United Arab Emirates.
