World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Jordan beats Tajikistan 3-1
DUSHANBE, Jun. 11, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (Asian Qualifiers) : Jordan defeated Tajikistan by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Thursday night at the Pamir Stadium in Dushanbe.
Abdel-Fattah scored tripple goals
Jordan dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Abdel-Fattah in the 29th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Jordanians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Abdel-Fattah '63, '88).
The result put the Jordanians top of Group B with 3 points. In their next game, Jordan will meet group leaders Kyrgyzstan at the Pamir Stadium on September 3, while Tajikistan will face Bangladesh.
