World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Jordan defeats Bangladesh 4-0
DHAKA, Sep. 8, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (Asian Qualifiers) : Jordan defeated Bangladesh by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday afternoon at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka.
Deeb scored dual goals
Jordan dominated the first half thanks to goals from Deeb ('13 on penalty) and Abu Amarah ('33). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Jordanians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Deeb '56 and Al-Bakhit '58).
The result put the Jordanians top of Group B with 7 points. Bangladesh is bottom with one point. In their next game, Jordan will meet second-placed Australia at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on October 8, while Bangladesh will face Kyrgyzstan.
