World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Kyrgyzstan beats Bangladesh 2-0
BISHKEK, Oct. 13, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (Asian Qualifiers) : Kyrgyzstan defeated Bangladesh by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday night at the Spartak Stadium in Bishkek.
Kyrgyzstan dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Lux in the 27th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Kyrgyzs further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Amirov with one minute left in regular time.
The result put the Kyrgyz third in Group B with 8 points. Bangladesh is bottom with one point. In their next game, Kyrgyzstan will meet second-placed Australia at the Spartak Stadium on November 12, while Bangladesh will face Tajikistan.
