ADELAIDE, Mar. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (Asian Qualifiers) : Australia defeated Tajikistan by a big score of 7-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Thursday night at the Adelaide Oval.
The result put the Australians top of Group B with 18 points. Tajikistan is fourth with 5 points. In their last game, Australia will meet second-placed Jordan at the Adelaide Oval on March 29, while Tajikistan will face Kyrgyzstan.
