World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Hong Kong beats Bhutan 7-0
KOWLOON, Jun. 11, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (Asian Qualifiers) : Hong Kong defeated Bhutan by a big score of 7-0 (halftime: 4-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Thursday night at the Mong Kok Stadium in Kowloon.
McKee scored dual goals
Hong Kong dominated the first half thanks to goals from McKee ('19), Christian ('23), Lo Kwan Yee ('30) and Ju Yingzhi ('42). Leading 4-0 at the break, Hong Kong players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Lam Ka Wai '49/penalty, McKee '57 and Godfred '67).
The result put Hong Kong top of Group C with 3 points. In their next game, Hong Kong will meet the Maldives at the Mong Kok Stadium on June 16, while Bhutan will face China.
