World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Qatar beats Bhutan 15-0
DOHA, Sep. 3, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (Asian Qualifiers) : Qatar defeated Bhutan by a big score of 15-0 (halftime: 8-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Thursday night at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Doha.
Assadalla and Muntari scored tripple goals
Qatar dominated the first half thanks to goals from Musa ('8, '28), Kasola ('18), Assadalla ('21, '45), Al Haidos ('25) and Muntari ('37, '41). Leading 8-0 at the break, the Qataris further widened their lead in the second period by scoring many times (Muntari '48, Afif '57, Khoukhi '62, '70, Assadalla '63, Mohammad '75 and Al Haidos '87).
The result put the Qatari top of Group C with 6 points. Bhutan is bottom with no points. In their next game, Qatar will meet second-placed Hong Kong at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on September 8, while Bhutan will face the Maldives.
