World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Qatar beats Hong Kong 3-2
KOWLOON, Sep. 8, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (Asian Qualifiers) : Qatar defeated Hong Kong by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday night at the Mong Kok Stadium in Kowloon.
Qatar dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Boudiaf in the 22nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Qataris further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Hassan '62 and Musa '84).
The result put the Qatari top of Group C with 9 points. Hong Kong is third with 7 points. In their next game, Qatar will meet second-placed China at the Mong Kok Stadium on October 8, while Hong Kong will face Bhutan.
