World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Qatar beats Maldives 4-0
DOHA, Oct. 13, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (Asian Qualifiers) : Qatar defeated the Maldives by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday night at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Doha.
Khoukhi scored dual goals
Qatar dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Khoukhi in the 28th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Qataris further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Kasola '69, Khoukhi '70 and Musa '90).
The result put the Qatari top of Group C with 15 points. The Maldives is fourth with 3 points. In their next game, Qatar will meet Bhutan at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on November 17, while the Maldives will face Hong Kong.
