WUHAN, Mar. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (Asian Qualifiers) : China defeated the Maldives by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Thursday night at the Wuhan Sports Center Stadium.
The result put the Chinese second in Group C with 14 points. The Maldives is fourth with 3 points. In their last game, China will meet group leaders Qatar at the Wuhan Sports Center Stadium on March 29, while the Maldives will face Bhutan.
