DOHA, Mar. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (Asian Qualifiers) : Qatar defeated Hong Kong by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a World Cup qualifying game on Thursday night at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium in Doha.
The result put the Qatari top of Group C with 21 points. Hong Kong is second with 14 points. In their last game, Qatar will meet third-placed China at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium on March 29.
